Health Office News - Fall 2026

News from the Health Office – September 2026
As we're "Diving Into a Sea of Knowledge "at Marshall, here are a few important reminders:
Water Bottles
We encourage all students to have their own refillable water bottle. We have several refill stations for bottles on campus to encourage this healthy habit. Please make sure your child's name is on the bottle to make sure a safe return if left out on the field or at lunch.
Reminders for P.E. events
· Every Tuesday, all students, 1st through 6th Grade, participate in PE. We recommend that all students have appropriate footwear and a personal water bottle.
· 5th Grade has PE daily on regular school days and we recommend all students have appropriate footwear and a personal water bottle.
Over the Counter Medications
For the safety of all our students, children ARE NOT allowed to carry prescriptions or "over the counter" medicine on them. This includes cough drops, antacid pills, lotion or cream for rashes, etc., just to name a few. Any medication retrieved from a student's possession will be turned into the front office for parents to pick up.
· Reminder: With cough and cold season upon us, students cannot have "over the counter" or prescription medication at school without a completed medical form from their doctor. If it becomes necessary for your child to have medication at school, please contact the Health Office for the required forms.
Good habits such as hand washing can help in the spread of germs. Drinking plenty of water and rest can help in recovering.
If you have any questions, the Health Office is available from 8:30AM to 2PM Monday through Friday at 909/ 627-9741.
